Everything in Selftone

A short daily practice built around your own voice. Every feature below is live today and free while we test.

Your daily recording

  • Ten seconds of your voice

Read a short, positive sentence or say whatever you like. Each day’s prompt leans toward yesterday’s quietest note and comes with a matching affirmation.

  • A careful quality check

Too short, too noisy or no speech found? Selftone tells you why and lets you try again. Soft voices and quiet microphones are evened out, so they are judged on clarity, not loudness.

  • An AI-engineered sound engine

Selftone’s voice analysis was designed and engineered with AI to measure all twelve notes in your voice the same careful way every time. While it works, breathe in for seven and out for seven.

Your four tracks

  • Four balancing tracks

About three minutes each, built from the partner notes of your three strongest notes and your quietest one. Play all four in a row (on a loop if you like) or any one alone, right from your home screen, with the screen in your track’s colour; download them or share a link.

  • Five sound styles

Warm drone, gentle piano, nature, singing bowls or soft strings. Choose your usual style in Settings, or try a different sound for today’s tracks right from the player.

  • Relax with your colour

A full-screen, slowly moving wash in the colour of the track that is playing, crossfading as the tracks change. One big button turns it on, and it can open by itself whenever you press play.

See your pattern

  • Reports and trends

Each recording at three depths: glance, summary and full detail. Trends follow every note over weeks and months, with a streak calendar.

  • Energy centres

An optional view that groups your twelve notes into seven centres, as many traditions do, with an intention for the day. For reflection only.

  • Ask Selftone

An AI assistant that answers questions about your own notes and trends and can act for you: start a recording, play your tracks, open sleep mode, change your settings, or prepare an invite that you confirm before it’s sent. It suggests what to do next from the time of day and your progress. Your chat is kept 7 days. A guide for reflection, not medical advice.

Night and morning

  • Sleep mode

Your quietest note’s partner track as a soft, continuous tone, with a dark screen and a sleep timer that fades out slowly.

  • Snore sounds, noticed on your device

Optional. While sleep mode plays, Selftone can count snore-like sounds on your phone. No audio is saved or uploaded, only counts and times, shown as a simple night-by-night chart.

  • Automatic bedtime and a gentle wake tone

Optional. Pick a bedtime and Selftone sends a reminder; one tap starts your tones and snore-sound counting together. While sleep mode is still running, a soothing tone in your note can rise slowly at the time you choose, with a quiet notification as a backup. It does not replace your phone’s alarm.

  • Morning grounding

About five minutes: a few slow breaths, an intention for your quietest centre, a matching track, and a quiet close. With “Grounding after your morning recording” on (you choose during setup and can change it in Settings), it follows your morning recording without the breathing, which you already did while your tracks were being made; later in the day you go straight to your tracks.

Build the habit

  • Streaks, levels and badges

Record once a day to grow your streak, listen to three sessions a day, and use streak freezes for the days life gets in the way.

  • Reminders and notifications

Reminder times that link straight to today’s tracks, quiet hours, and a late-day nudge if you have not recorded yet. Choose email, text or notifications, and turn each kind of notification on or off.

  • Install it like an app

Selftone runs in your browser on phone, tablet and computer. Add it to your home screen to open it like an app; on a computer it uses a roomy layout with a side menu.

Together

  • Friends and cheers

Follow friends, send encouragement, and choose what followers see: nothing, your streak, or your streak and graphs.

  • Invite with a personal note

Invite someone by email or text and add your own short message to the invitation.

  • English, French and Spanish

The app, its emails and this website in three languages, with light and dark themes.
