Ten seconds of your voice. Four tracks to balance your sound.

Selftone maps the twelve musical notes in your voice, finds the ones that stand out and the one that stays quiet, and answers each with its complementary partner note. The result is four tracks designed to balance your personal sound pattern, every day.

How Selftone balances your sound

What it hears in your voice decides what it gives back. About fifteen seconds of your time, then press play.

  1. Speak for 10 seconds

Read a short, positive sentence out loud, or say whatever you like.

  2. See your 12-note map

Selftone measures each of the twelve notes in your voice and picks out your three strongest notes and your quietest one.

    Strongest: G, E, A Quietest: F♯

  3. Meet the partner notes

Each of those four notes is paired with its complement: the note six semitones away, directly across the wheel.

    Partner: G → C♯, E → A♯, A → D♯, F♯ → C

  4. Listen to 4 balancing tracks

One track for each partner note, about three minutes each, designed to balance today’s sound pattern.

A daily ritual to find your balance

Your voice changes from day to day, so your tracks do too. Everything here helps you come back to it.

  • Daily streaks

A gentle calendar of the days you showed up, with streak freezes for the days life gets in the way.

  • Colour mode

Each of the twelve notes has its own colour, so your map and its partners read at a glance.

  • Five sound styles

Warm drone, gentle piano, nature, singing bowls or soft strings under your balancing tones.

  • Reports and trends

Glance, summary or full detail. Watch your sound pattern shift over weeks and months.

  • Friends

Follow a friend, send a cheer, and choose exactly what they can see.

Every note has a partner

Music divides each octave into twelve equal steps. Six steps away, on the opposite side of the wheel, sits each note’s complementary partner. Selftone pairs the notes that stand out in your voice with these partners to rebalance your sound.
